Global Warming Ranting

Global Warming is horseshsit, a nice short explanation of why:

First, we are BELOW the average temperature of the earth for the past 2 billion years.

Second, even if the temp is rising (which it has NOT since 2001) it is
still approaching the NORMAL temperature of the earth's climate.

Third, even if it is rising, you have to determine whether that is
due to nature (say the sun's activity) or man and if it is due to man,
why, how and how much?

Fourth, assuming it is do to man, and therefore his c02 emmisions, you have to prove whether co2 causes this increase in temperature or not? All history shows it does not. In fact, Rises in co2 FOLLOW rises in temperature.


Fifth, even avoiding the issue of whether or not CO2 leads to rises in temperature, it is a MINOR
green house gas making up a VERY SMALL percentage (3.5% according to NASA)of the atmosphere.

Sixth, even if Co2 caused global warming, how much is due to nature (actually, 98% is) or
the activities of man (less than 2%, both according to NASA), even NASA says that man's contribution is very
small.

Seventh, Even if co2 and temperatures are going up, what can be done
about it or should be done about it? How much can we reverse this and
can we afford to do it? If the temperature is going up (which it isn't) it is ONLY
approaching the normal average temperature of the earth (for the past
couple of billion years) and in an environmentalist sense this is
NATURAL! Wouldn't it be UN-NATURAL to try and change this?

Eighth, why is man excluded from nature and considered alien to it? If
man is from and of nature, then what he does is as natural as any other
animal or planet or star, isn't it. If man really believes in being
green then what they believe in then is returning to earth, or keeping the earth as close
as possible to a "natural" state as possible. "Natural" meaning as undisturbed by
man (who is alien, or a poluter) as possible. If they believe this to be consistent
they should; not have any children, not build on land, and if possible, commit suicide to remove their unaturalness from the earth. Sure they believe in less radical things like limiting the emissions
of cars, but why dont' they believe (or do they?) in limiting the number of cars
they can drive or how far one can travel to work, the number or size of their houses, the number of children they can have, the number of vacation houses they can own, the number of jets and flights
they can take, the number of times they can remodel their kitchens, the size of their SUV's, etc...???

Finally, Global warming is not science, it is a political movement. And to see it as anything else is to be deceitful.
